I have been married for 40 years to the wonderful man that God sent to me. He has spoiled me and put up with me when no one else could have. I have three children, two wonderful sons, one beautiful daughter, four grandsons, one grandaughter, and one soon-to-arrive grandaughter. I am now retired from teaching high-ability students in grades kindergarten through sixth and also served eight years as an elected member of the school board. I play the bassoon, clarinet, and the oboe and have performed in various symphony orchestras, concert bands, operas, community bands, and churches. I am currently working on a children's book and a Christian suspense novel.

Anyhow, as I was saying before I so rudely interrupted myself, I want to thank you and welcome each and every one of my followers! The response was far greater and much quicker than I had anticipated it would be. It is my hope you will not be disappointed and I promise that I will do my utmost to keep this blog entertaining, enlightening, and enjoyable. There will be more giveaways coming right up so, even if you weren't the lucky winner for this particular book, stick around - you may be the winner of the next one.
Since this is my first giveaway, this was very difficult for me. I wanted everyone to win so that I could express my appreciation to each of my new friends who signed up to follow Write AboutNow. However, just as it was in TheVictor, in the end there can be only one.
And now, without further ado, the winner of Marlayne's wonderful novel is .......
I have sent Charity an email and she has one week to respond. If I have not heard from her by August 9th, another name will be chosen.
